Is handwriting important in the Psych Test?

Some candidates worry about the quality of their handwriting and its impact on their
assessment. A few believe that good handwriting will help them to succeed. This is a
misconception.
Actually, the SSB psychologists do not give any importance to handwriting. Since the test is
written at a fast pace, they know that your handwriting cannot be very good. They are
interested in the content (your thoughts, feelings and actions) rather than the appearance of
your writing.
However, you must ensure that your writing is legible. Equally important is the proper
formation of sentences (grammar), apt vocabulary, and correct spelling and punctuation.
Remember that expressing your thoughts clearly and easily is an OLQ which you need to
develop by practice.
